About ConvertPixFree

ConvertPixFree is a small set of free image tools that run in your web browser. You can convert HEIC, WebP, AVIF, PNG and JPG files, combine images into a PDF, compress pictures and change their size.

Why it works the way it does

Most online converters upload your files to a server, process them there and send them back. This site does the work on your own device instead. That means no waiting for uploads, no copy of your photos stored by anyone else, and no limit on how many files you convert.

How it is paid for

The tools are free to use. The site shows advertising from Google AdSense to cover its running costs. The Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data.

Open source components

HEIC decoding uses the heic-to library, which is built on libheif and released under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3. The library file is served unmodified from this site, along with its license text.
