How to use it
- Select your PNG images in the order you want them, or drop them into the box.
- Choose A4 pages or pages that fit each image under Options.
- Download the finished PDF.
Make a PDF from PNG images
Screenshots, diagrams, scanned pages and exported slides are often saved as PNG. A PDF is easier to send, print and keep together as one document. Add several PNG files and they become the pages of one PDF, in the order you select them.
Page size
Fit to each image makes every page the size of its picture, with no margin. A4 with margin puts each image in the middle of an A4 sheet. Wide pictures get a sideways page. Choose A4 if you plan to print.
About transparency
PDF pages in this tool have a white background, so transparent areas in a PNG show as white. If you need another background color, convert the PNG to JPG first and pick the color there.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The work runs inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never sent to our server or to anyone else. You can confirm this in your browser's developer tools: the network tab shows no file data leaving the page.
Can I combine several PNGs into one PDF?
Yes. Select them together and each becomes a page of one PDF.
Does the PDF keep the image quality?
The pictures are placed in the PDF at their full pixel size and saved with high quality JPEG compression, so they look the same to the eye.
Can I add JPG or WebP files too?
The JPG to PDF tool accepts PNG, JPG, WebP and HEIC together.
